Faith
Many of my clients are interested in examining the impact that religion/spirituality has on their lives. There is evidence to suggest that people who are religious often enjoy increased mental and physical health. I am glad to help my clients explore how their faith can be a resource for growth, healing and stability.
The extent to which religion or spirituality is discussed in therapy is ultimately up to each client. My intention is simply to make my clients aware that I am a "faith friendly" therapist, and that integrating their faith into the therapeutic process is an option that is available to them.
